I am a Big Dreamer. One of my lifelong dreams has been to paint on canvas. I’m not sure why I waited so long to get started, but now that I have, I have found tremendous purpose in it.

My mentor, Lon Michels, invited me to paint with him in his studio. He encouraged me to just paint, and my confidence grew. I paint with acrylics, experimenting with texture and technique. I love painting flowers, and I am always envisioning a picture of clouds or sunrises and sunsets. One of my favorite things to do is to paint with my grandchildren. I love to help them see things in a different way and to express themselves with a brush, a canvas, and color.
